Then, take one teaspoon of this powder with water, twice a day after meals. Include green leafy vegetables and sprouts in your diet. These contain vitamins B and E which aid digestion and also facilitate the removal of acids from the body. 'Raita' prepared from cucumber and salads are a tried and trust digestive aid. Maintaining a standing posture for some time after food will help in preventing a reaction. 1-2 teaspoon juice of chebulic myroblan is taken daily is highly beneficial in the treatment of acidity and heartburn. For better results, the juice can be mixed with an equal amount of amla juice.

There are various home remedies and ayurvedic treatments for acidity control; it is good to go for such treatments as they are safe and successful. The patient should avoid using chemical/medicinal acidity treatments as it creates a bundle of other health problems. Also, try avoiding stress and moderate your lifestyle by including relaxing techniques can go a long way to prevent excess stomach acid and ulcers, particularly if you are a nervous & emotional person or involved in a high-stress job. Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Some drugs may predispose a person to excess stomach acid. Try to eat regular meals and follow a healthy diet. Take extra care when lifting weights, as this puts the abdominal area under the added strain and may result in digestion evils.
